SALES MANAGER

ESTABLISHED PROPERTY DEVELOPMENT COMPANY IN JOHANNESBURG EAST RAND

Remuneration structure: Basic salary plus commission

Our ideal candidate is dynamic, driven, an excellent negotiator, has good interpersonal skills and possesses strong leadership qualities to guide sales teams in achieving sales targets. The Sales Manager will be responsible for the Similan Group, which includes branches in Johannesburg East Rand, Nelspruit, PE and Cape Town and will also need to travel to outlying areas regularly.

Main responsibilities:

  • Sales management
    • Lead generation and management of company CRM system
    • Target setting, active management towards target achievement, including processes that enables efficient sales
    • Building networds with key role players to generate sales leads
    • Marketing Team Communication, including marketing event presence and presentation, planning and executing of marketing strategy and interaction with marketing team
    • Ensure implementation and control of sales processes with the sales team
  • Management of the sales team, and external sales team working with the company, including motivation and assistance to achieve sales targets and to close pending sales
  • Being the primary accountable individual for the delivery of the sales objectives for the group 
  • Lead weekly sales report meetings & report on sales activities, including reporting on sales statistics.
  • Approve contracts and related forms signed by sales representatives
  • Keep records of sales productivity
  • Work with the team to improve performance and terminate unsatisfactory performers
  • Active involvement in recruitment and appointment of sales team
  • Training of new and current sales personnel on relevant processes, including overseeing team activities
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; developing, discovering and exploring opportunities
  • Drive engagement with customers through various channels (meetings, calls, proposals, conferences).

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales & Marketing/Real Estate management/related tertiary qualification
  • Experience in property sales and management of sales team (5 – 10 years)
  • Proven ability to close deals and achieve targets
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Driver’s license

HR MANAGER (half day position)

Our ideal candidate is an experienced HR practitioner. You should consist of strong administration skills and the ability to implement, guide and manage company’s policies and procedures

Main responsibilities:

  • Recruiting and placements of suitable candidates
  • Reviewing of employee contracts
  • Reviewing and communication of internal policies and procedures
  • Implementation of HR structure and processes
  • Manage employee relations
  • Implementation and management of performance engagement process
  • Managing of disciplinary processes
  • Implementation and managing of training portfolio

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification (BCom/BA degree)
  • Experience as Human resource practitioner (5-8 years)
  • Computer literate – MS Office
  • Driver’s license
